SOLD Rare Asher 2005 "Lotus Flower" #1 of 1 Electro Hawaiian Model I Lap Steel w/ Custom Hand Cut Inlay - Great Condition

Product

This is an amazing, rare, one-of-a-kind Asher lap steel from 2005 in near mint condition. The hand-cut inlayed mother of pearl, abalone and birds-eye maple Lotus Flower was a collaboration between Bill Asher and his brother in-law Jeff Yamada - an artisan of wood and steel. Only a few guitars each year are hand built with this kind of detail and each one is unique. This lap steel was also on display 2008-2009 at the Museum of Making Music for their History Of Slide Guitar Exhibit.

"The tone and feel of these lap steels are a driving force for players like Ben Harper, Greg Leisz, Robert Randolph and Bruce Bouton".  Bill Asher
